Maro Vandorou – founder of Atelier Vandorou – is a visual artist whose work explores the process of transformation through original photographic installations, writings and artists’ books. She draws from ancient Hellenic rites to unearth archetypes and symbols of the divine, using vintage film cameras, translucent handmade papers, and platinum/palladium printing as tools of choice. Her installation concepts reflect fragility, impermanence, and vulnerability.
